ACCELERATED MOUNTAINEER PREP FOR ESL

Courses in the Accelerated Mountaineer Program for English as a Second Language Online Preparatory (AMP ESL PREP) allow students who are not quite ready for the AMP ESL Program to work on ESL skills at home before traveling to the WVU campus in Morgantown, WV.  AMP ESL Prep courses online help to make integration and transition to college life for international students as easy as possible with experienced instructors who provide linguistic and cultural guidance.  Student support is an important factor in all ELLI language programs. Additional student support is available outside of regular class time.

Students may choose to study from home in the AMP ESL PREP Online advanced program if students do not have test scores or their test scores do not qualify for either of the AMP ESL programs. The AMP ESL PREP Online advanced program provides students with advanced curriculum in ESL with core and integrated skills courses which are not credit-bearing.  Following completion of the AMP ESL PREP Online Program, students will require appropriate iBT TOEFL or IELTS test scores to enroll in the AMP ESL Two-Semester or One-Semester Paths.
